What’s your coffee order?
No coffee for me I’m afraid. I love the smell of it but it makes me way too jittery. It’s an almond milk or soy milk hot chocolate for me.
What are your top café picks for an excellent brew or brekkie? What would you order?
I love Left Handed Chef in Park St, South Melbourne - I go there every morning for my hot chocolate and pop in there at least once a week for lunch. Order their Atlantic eggs Benedict! Chatterbox Café is great for lunch too, their lamb shank and barley soup is to die for.
Name three things on your ‘bucket’ list?
The Tokyo 2020 Olympics to watch the karate. This will be the first time in history that karate will be included in the Olympics! Representing Australia at an international karate tournament. Travel overseas to watch the WKF World Karate Championships.
What is the first concert you ever went to and what do you remember about it?
John Franham, my Mom loved John Farnham and she used to take my sister, my brother and I along to every concert. He is such an amazing live performer.
What was your favourite song from high school and what three songs are you currently listening to on repeat?
In high school I was obsessed with Boyz II Men. I’m currently loving all of Justin Timberlake’s new work - can’t get enough.
What is your favorite city or destination and why would you recommend it?
Fiji - I’ve visited six times! The Fijian people are so lovely, the food is amazing and the location is pure bliss.
What’s the best thing about your job and what motivates you to get out of bed each day?
The wonderful people I get to help every day, the gorgeous properties I have the honour of looking after and the amazing team I have the priviledge of working with each and every day.
What is the greatest lesson you have learnt and can pass onto others?
Every failure, every challenge in life is a lesson if you choose to see it that way, there can be no success without failure.
Any hidden talents?
I was a volunteer guide at the Werribee Open Range Zoo for five years, specialising in big cats (lions and cheetahs in particular). You can ask me pretty much anything about lions and cheetahs, I love kitties.
